Biography

Mwesigwa Rukutana is the founding and Managing Partner of Mwesigwa Rukutana & Co. Advocates. He is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and has practised law across a range of corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters since admission to the bar.

The firm operates from MR Chambers in Najjanankumbi, on Entebbe Road, Kampala — a strategic location providing proximity to the courts and accessibility for clients across the greater Kampala area. Mr. Rukutana leads the firm's principal practice areas, with particular focus on corporate transactions, commercial litigation, and arbitral proceedings involving Ugandan and cross-border dimensions.
