Scope of Practice

The firm provides counsel and representation in arbitral proceedings under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Uganda, as well as under international rules including the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, the ICC Rules, and the LCIA Rules. The practice covers both ad hoc and institutional arbitration.

We advise on the drafting of arbitration clauses, the selection of arbitral seats and institutions, and the enforcement of arbitral awards under the New York Convention as domesticated in Ugandan law. Where challenges to awards arise, We represent clients in setting-aside and enforcement proceedings before the High Court.
