Scope of Practice

Operating within Uganda's regulatory environment requires an understanding that goes beyond reading the statutes. We advise clients at every stage — from initial entry into a regulated industry through ongoing compliance, sector-specific licensing, and direct engagement with the relevant regulatory authority.

Our practitioners have experience working across a range of regulatory frameworks in Uganda, including those administered by the Uganda Communications Commission, the Capital Markets Authority, the Uganda Revenue Authority, the National Drug Authority, and sector ministries. We provide advice that is grounded in current regulatory practice, not merely the legislative text.

Where a client faces an adverse regulatory decision, we advise on available review and appeal mechanisms, and where appropriate, represent clients in those proceedings.
